Today Mechanical Pinckney Hugo Pencil bid farewell to his buddy European Hertz Rental Car as it was our last day on the road. Since we’ve really bonded with EHRC we took our time getting to El Prat, heading up into the rocky cliffs of Montserrat to enjoy the day’s drive and get a bird’s-eye view of Catalunya. MECHANICAL PINCKNEY HUGO PENCIL FINALLY MADE IT TO BARCELONA. Whew! He did it! Mechanical Pinckney Hugo Pencil finally got to check out La Rambla, even though it was Friday evening and there were a million damn people out. Mechanical Pinckney Hugo Pencil finally got to grab a coconut milk and wander around Fro’s favorite Barcelona stop, the Mercado de La Boqueria Sant Josep, the most epic little market you’ve ever seen. So epic that it gets its own photo collage. Mechanical Pinckney Hugo Pencil finally got to meet Fro’s Spanish sister, Carolina, who took us out for tapas and vermuts and pisco sours and music and, wait, what time is it? Uh oh…
